TESDA Online Portal: How to Access Services, Online Courses, and Verification Tools

In the digital era, getting certified or upgrading your technical-vocational skills doesn't always require standing in long queues at government offices. The TESDA Online Portal brings the agency's primary services directly to your laptop or smartphone, offering free self-paced courses, online scholarship registration, and instant certificate verification.

Whether you are looking to enroll in free e-learning modules, register for a scholarship, or verify your National Certificate (NC II), this complete guide covers how to navigate the official online portals of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

What is the TESDA Online Portal?

The TESDA digital ecosystem consists of three main online platforms, each designed for specific user needs:

  • TESDA Online Program (e-TESDA): A free web-based platform offering self-paced, flexible technical and vocational courses.

  • Biometric-Enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS): The centralized portal for registering and tracking government-funded training scholarships.

  • TESDA Registry of Certified Workers: The official online database used to verify the validity and authenticity of issued National Certificates (NCs) and Certificates of Competency (COCs).

Free E-Learning via the TESDA Online Program (TOP)

The TESDA Online Program (e-TESDA) allows students, local workers, and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to complete technical modules at their own pace from home—completely free of tuition.

Key Course Categories Available

Information Technology: Web Development, Cybersecurity Basics, Front-End Web Design

Tourism & Hospitality: Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery Fundamentals, Housekeeping Services

Agriculture & Agribusiness: Organic Agriculture, Hydroponics, Plant Production

Entrepreneurship & Management: Starting a Small Business, Financial Literacy, Managing Micro-Enterprises

Electrical & Electronics: Solar Night Light Assembly, Basic Computer Hardware Servicing

How to Register and Take Courses

1. Create an Account

Visit e-tesda.gov.ph and click "Register". Fill out the user profile form with your complete legal name, valid email address, and personal details.

2. Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for the automated activation email sent by the platform. Click the verification link to activate your e-TESDA account.

3. Enroll in a Course

Log in, browse the course catalog, and select a trade. Click "Enroll Me" to gain immediate access to video tutorials, reading materials, and self-check quizzes.

4. Download Your Certificate

Complete all required lesson modules and pass the final online quiz. Upon completion, you can immediately download your official Certificate of Completion.

Note: While the online course awards a Certificate of Completion, it does not automatically grant a National Certificate (NC II). To get an official NC II, you can bring your online completion certificate to an accredited assessment center and pass the hands-on practical exam.

TESDA Online Registry: How to Verify Certificates

Employers, foreign recruitment agencies, and workers can verify the authenticity of an NC II or COC online in real time.

Step-by-Step Certificate Verification

Go to the official website at tesda.gov.ph.

Hover over "Verifications" in the main navigation menu and click "Registry of Certified Workers."

Select the appropriate issuance year range (2017 Onwards or 2016 and Earlier).

Enter either the applicant's Full Name or the Certificate Number (printed on the physical or e-Certificate).

Review the search results. An active record will display the full name, qualification title, certificate number, date of issuance, and exact expiration date.

Registering for Scholarships via BSRS Portal

If you prefer face-to-face training with covered tuition and daily allowances, TESDA manages its scholarship slots through the Biometric-Enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS).

How to Apply via BSRS

Visit bsrs.tesda.gov.ph.

Create your official learner profile by uploading a valid government ID and entering your contact information.

Search for active scholarship programs (such as TWSP or STEP) offered by accredited Technical-Vocational Institutions (TVIs) in your city or region.

Submit your application digitally. Once pre-selected, the system notifies you to visit your chosen training center for final document submission and qualifying assessment.

Tips for Using the TESDA Portal

Match Your Legal Name Exactly: When creating an account on e-TESDA or BSRS, ensure your name matches your government-issued ID (Passport, UMID, or National ID) to prevent record mismatches during certificate verification.

Keep Mobile Apps Updated: You can also view and download your verified TESDA digital e-Certificates directly through the official eGovPH Mobile App by linking your national ID profile.

Stable Connection for Quizzes: Take course assessment quizzes on a stable internet connection. While learning materials are self-paced, quiz progress requires an active connection to log your passing score.
Upgrade Your Credentials Online

The TESDA Online Portal has made acquiring new skills and managing your vocational credentials easier than ever. Whether you want to learn entrepreneurship basics from home, register for a face-to-face scholarship, or present a verified e-Certificate to an employer, taking advantage of TESDA's digital services allows you to advance your professional journey at your own pace.
